I originally injured my back in March, 1985, and sought chiropractic care after my only medical option was a laminectomy for what the neurosurgeons diagnosed as a herniated disk at L4-L5 and L5-S1. My pain was so severe that I was unable to walk….

After two weeks of treatments twice daily, I returned home a "new man" able to run and take care of daily problems. I did not return to using a chiropractor for another 6 years when yet another injury (this time while moving) caused me to seek help…  

However, this time I was smarter and once I was "healed", I continued to see the chiropractor every other week. Now when I injure myself, I healed much faster.

My wife, never a fan of chiropractic, started to see how I was recovering more rapidly after each injury because of chiropractic care. She started going to HealthWorks about a year after I did, and her pelvic alignment has improved, significantly reducing her pain low in her hip.

Recently I suffered yet another injury and came into HealthWorks on crutches due to the pain. After a single visit, I was able to ditch the crutches and move with significantly reduced pain.

But back to the staff at the office…. Having a knowledge of what is important in a person's life is critical to good, continuing care. Ask yourself a few questions:  How often do you have pain or require pain medication to relieve the pain?  Would you like to get off that pain medication? Then seek chiropractic help.  What role does your primary care physician play in your life? Why not have a chiropractor play a similar role? After all, most people see their primary care physician 4 times a year (after about age 50) and all they do is prescribe drugs.
Wouldn't it be better not to take drugs and not have pain or other problems?
