For years my jaw popped, clicked and hurt. 

I asked my dentist about it and he said I had TMJ.  To help me out, he prescribed Advil and eventually had me taking it 6x per day! 

When that wasn’t working and the problem with my jaw got so bad that I couldn’t even open it wide enough to put two fingers in my mouth (or a small hamburger), my dentist recommended surgery.  I decided to forget that and just live with it.
