Dr. April was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1998. Chiropractic was love at first sight for Dr. April as is a way of restoring life and health to the body.
Dr. April is a highly-regarded practicing and published chiropractor - and is included in the original "Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul" book. She has been recognized by the American Red Cross for her volunteer work, and by the industry's leading name in chiropractic - the Parker Seminars - where she taught the Parker Principles for Success, Health, and Happiness to chiropractor's kids.
Dr. April's love affair with chiropractic care still grows stronger every day. She has a passion for caring for the health of entire families, and derives a special joy by working to restore and maintain the health of children in her practice.
When she's not helping people be healthy, Dr. April enjoys spending time with family - where she is the world's best aunt to a rambunctious nephew and two beautiful nieces. She also takes pleasure in running and has completed three half marathons to date(!). You are also quite likely to find Dr April outdoors riding jet skis, swimming, fishing or even the occasional motorcycle ride(!!).
Dr. April is our clinic's special pride and joy - and after you meet her you too will understand why.

Kim has been a Chiropractic Assistant for the past 11 years, and is the well-established therapy complement to Dr. April, having worked with her for over ten years! Not only that, but Kim is the life of the office – always bubbly and cheerful with a kind word for everyone.
Kim has extensive training in chiropractic care and massage therapy. She has completed the Chiropractic Care program from the leading name in chiropractic - the Parker College – and, most recently obtained a diploma from Life University for completing the CA program through The Masters Circle.
Kim enjoys working with our Practice Members, assisting Dr. April with spinal exams and patient care and also providing Physical and Massage Therapies. She has been a licensed Massage therapist for the past 12 years.
Kim enjoys volunteering and was fortunate enough to go to New York after 9/11 to work her massage magic on countless volunteers tired from the stress and strain of rescue and recovery work. Kim has been blessed to have been a part of many health miracles and looks forward to many more at our clinic and in her extra-curricular activities.

Debi was raised in Alvin, TX, but finished High School – and met her husband of nearly 30 years – at The American School in Lugano Switzerland.
Debi actually started in Chiropractic as a patient… It all started with a visit to Dr. April to try and resolve a huge back problem. After looking for the right solution to address her pain for quite some time, she was fortunate enough to come in contact with Dr. April – and was just blown away with her.
Within a year of care from Dr. April, all of those back problems that limited her activities, affected her health and just generally gave her a difficult life were pretty much gone. To her amazement, the pain that she thought she would have to live with for life was cured!!!
Throughout the treatment process (it is always a process, never a one-time quick fix) – Debi and Dr. April developed a deep and lasting friendship that culminated in Debi coming to work for Dr. April. Debi has completed the Chiropractic Assistant program through Life University and The Master’s Circle, and now enjoys spending her days reassuring and giving others hope that they too can overcome their back pain.
Debi spends her spare time volunteering with the Girl Scouts organization. Her involvement with Girl Scouts started when her daughter was still young and has continued for 26 years. Debi is now the Service Unit manager for the Clear Lake area. |
